THE FRACTALS

In nature there are many fractals: the branches of the tree recur with more and more smaller copies of themselves. To draw a fractal it is necessary to identify the basic element and the geometrical transformations required to reduce and move it.

An example is the Sierpinski triangle, where a reduction of coefficient ½ is associated with two translations.

We made this fractal by using CABRI and by defining the macro "sierpinski1", then we used it to define the macro "sierpinski2" and so on...
