De Rochefort's castle lies in the northern region of Quenelles and south of the Massif Orcal. The Marquess' fief comprises a large number of villages and castles. There are, however, two very important fortresses:
The man who holds the power upon these two fortresses rules the marquisate, and receives the honorary title of "Le Dobermann". The Ducky of Quenelles is within the blue line, the Marquisate of Etien De Rochefort is within the red line:
Here you can see the extent of the Marquisate in the scrolls passed on throught the ages. The lands are divided between those belonging to people who pay tributes and the lands which, though belonging to the Marquisate do not follow his ruling.
The area ruled by the De Rochefort is highlighted in light grey. The area with grey lines is still outside the Marquess' control, but belongs to him by tradition.
