Below is an animated illustration of a hypothetical reconstruction of the Xaghra Circle. The megaliths forming the circle do not exist anymore (with the exception of two small ones), yet the circular shape of the boundary rubble wall of the field were the excavation took place can give a good indication of the diameter of the stone circle. Also the two watercolours of the Circle, of Charles de Brochdorff done in 1824, show many of the megaliths, and these two watercolours was used as reference.

The illustration of the underground chambers and caves were taken from the material published by the archaeologists. Many of the chambers and caves had collapsed in antiquity, and so it is impossible to be sure of how the underground chambers and caves looked like exactly. Also there are parts in the circle which have not been excavated.
