The fragments of this clay standing statuettes were found at Tarxien Temples from the Middle Temple, next to the double-shelve niche (the one in the left middle apse). It has been reassembled here, but the lack of breasts is just hypothetical. The skirt has been reconstructed. The head is well modelled. The figure was modelled on a core of straw, which when it burned away, left its shape on the inside of the statue. Original height must have been about 60 cm (2 feet), head is 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) high and the height of the fragment of the skirt is 22 cm (8.6 inches).
