This fragment of a small clay statuette was found in the South Mnajdra Temple (back rooms, right apse). The abdomen is distended as if to represent pregnancy. The large breasts supports this hypothesis. The female organ is marked by a deep incision. The backbone is represented by a thin strip of clay and the ribs are marked realistically, by deep incisions at the back. Height 5 cm (2 inches)
