| The 'oracle hole' seen close up from inside the temple. A curious aspect of this hole is that it had been cut out in the rock at an angle. This angle aims directly at the point on the horizon where the sun rises on the summer solstice. This hole differs from other 'oracle holes' (see Tarxien Temples and Mnajdra Temples) which are cut straight through the megaliths.
