Xrobb l-Ghagin was constructed close to a cliffedge that has been eroding since prehistoric times. There are nearly no surviving features today and the site is very dangerous to visit because of the undercutting of the cliff which is not visible at ground level. In the background is St Thomas bay and the fishing village of Marsascala.
