 The first article published in
issue 1/93 of Radio Rivista magazine covered a device based on the famous
NE555, in order to identify the owner callsign at regular intervals preset
by the operator. The work was completed, as well as functional, also valid
from an aesthetic point of view through a screen realization obtained by a
Macintosh workstation (thanks to Elena). Here beside shows the introductory
page. I remember that I had a discussion with the late director of RR -
I1ZCT - about the cover during the Friedrichshafen exhibition. I hoped that
it was played in my work, but as shown here, it was preferred to opt for the
parrot ... |

 Il primo articolo che pubblicai nel numero 1/93 di Radio Rivista
concerneva un dispositivo, basato sul famoso NE555, atto alla identificazione in grafia
del nominativo di stazione ad intervalli regolari impostabili dall'operatore. Il lavoro
ultimato si presentava, oltreché funzionale, valido anche dal punto di vista estetico
grazie ad una realizzazione serigrafica ottenuta con workstation Macintosh. Qui sotto si
riporta la pagina introduttiva. Ricordo che ebbi una discussione con il compianto
direttore di R.R. - i1ZCT - circa la copertina proprio in occasione
della Fiera di Friedrichshafen. Speravo che in essa venisse
riprodotto il mio lavoro, ma da come si evince sopra, si preferì optare per il pappagallo

Same
year, the number 5/93, following a few detailed studies for professional
needs, I decide to publish an article dedicated to a new type of optical
fiber, referred to as just "New fiber-optic polymer". Two pages written
with the utmost simplicity of terms but at the same time in a
comprehensive way. At least this is the commentary of some players ... |

Nello
stesso anno, sul numero 5/93, in seguito ad alcuni studi approfonditi per esigenze
professionali, decido di pubblicare un articolo dedicato ad un nuovo tipo di fibra ottica,
denominato appunto "Nuove fibre ottiche polimeriche". Due pagine scritte con la
massima semplicità di termini ma allo stesso tempo in modo esaustivo. Perlomeno questo il
commento di alcuni lettori... |

The last
collaboration was not straightforward. I was contacted by Stephen iW1BHO
which gave me the imminent publication of an article on a packet radio modem,
called precisely Baymodem, based on the famous IC 7910. The project was
helded by him, but asked me to build one in order to make some photos for
the publication of work on RR. The modem was working with a TNC emulation
program, or TSTHost. Beside the end of the article page. |

L'ultima
collaborazione non fu diretta. Fui contattato da Stefano, iW1BHO il quale mi diede come
imminente la pubblicazione di un articolo concernente un packet radio modem, denominato
appunto Baymodem, basato sul famoso IC 7910. Il progetto era suo ma mi chiese di
costruirne uno al fine di effettuare alcune foto per la pubblicazione del lavoro su R.R.
Il modem funzionava con un programma di emulazione tnc, ovvero il TSTHost. Qui sotto
